Basketball Recap: William Graham's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Deer Valley over Foothill

Deer Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 60-53 to the Foothill Falcons. If the Wolverines were looking for revenge after losing 62-37 to the Falcons when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Deer Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was William Graham, who shot 63% from the field on his way to 13 points. Raja Dunbar was another key player, going 6-for-9 to rack up 13 points and five boards.

Deer Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Deer Valley and Tracy will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Foothill, they will be playing at home against Irvington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
