Western Branch waltzed into their game on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Nansemond River Warriors get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. The result was nothing new for Western Branch, who have now won six contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Western Branch pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three matchups. As for Nansemond River, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-3.
