Los Gatos has gone a perfect 4-0 against Gunn recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Wildcats will face off against the Titans at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Los Gatos has nine straight wins, Gunn has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Los Gatos barely beat Burlingame the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 6-0 victory on Saturday. Considering the Wildcats have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Gavin Seiler looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Los Gatos let Lucas Carlisle and Beau Musser run wild. Carlisle went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run, while Musser went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Brady Simon was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Gunn's offense. They came up short against Palo Alto on Friday, falling 8-0.
Gunn saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jonah Weinstein, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
Gunn now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Los Gatos, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.
Gunn's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Los Gatos has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .434. It's a different story for Gunn, though, as they've only averaged .346. Will they be able to contain Los Gatos' hitters?
Los Gatos took their victory against Gunn in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 18-6 score. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
