Volleyball Recap: Davidson Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Davidson Academy can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Franklin Road Academy Panthers on Monday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-8, 25-18.

Leading Franklin Road Academy to victory were Savannah Sullivan and Ella Cassel. Sullivan had eight assists and six digs, while Cassel had 11 assists and four digs. Those eight assists gave Sullivan a new career-high.

Davidson Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Franklin Road Academy, the victory was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

As of now, neither Davidson Academy nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
