Basketball Recap: Ferndale Takes a Loss

Ferndale lost against Hoopa Valley last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Ferndale Wildcats fell 68-58 to the Hoopa Valley Warriors.

Brandon Romero was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 30 points and ten rebounds for Hoopa Valley. Romero continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Brian Richards was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and 11 boards.

Ferndale's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Hoopa Valley, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-9.

As of now, neither Ferndale nor Hoopa Valley have any future games scheduled.
