Harrison won the last time they faced Lafayette Central Catholic, and Malachi King did his part to make sure it happened again. The Harrison Raiders enjoyed a cozy 70-53 win over the Lafayette Central Catholic Knights on Saturday thanks in part to King, who went 13 for 18 on his way to 29 points and eight boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in February of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Lafayette Central Catholic lost, don't look at Romeo Huerta. Despite the final result, he scored 13 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ray Clayton, who went 5 of 11 en route to 10 points.

Harrison has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Lafayette Central Catholic, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.
