Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Martin). Everything went their way against the Grand Prairie Gophers on Tuesday as the Martin Warriors made off with a 15-3 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Gophers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Martin's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-9-1. As for Grand Prairie, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Martin will have a chance to go back-to-back against Grand Prairie: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
