Recap: Jordan Bulldogs vs. Bell Gardens Lancers
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Jordan Bulldogs can now relate to. They were the victim of a rough 28-8 defeat at the hands of the Lancers on Saturday. Jordan's defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.
Despite the loss, Jordan still got an impressive performance from David Sandy, who picked up 140 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 105 yards. Sandy's longest reception was for an incredible 75 yards.
Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Bell Gardens, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season.
Jordan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bell Gardens will take on Strathmore at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Strathmore is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
