Marvin Ridge is 9-1 against Sun Valley since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mavericks will challenge the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. Marvin Ridge will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.

Marvin Ridge is headed into the matchup having not lost since March 11 and will look to keep things rolling. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Cuthbertson on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Lucy Chin as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Sun Valley was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They came up short against Weddington, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Sun Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 69th, while Weddington are ranked tenth).

Marvin Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 7-1-5. As for Sun Valley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4-2.

Marvin Ridge beat Sun Valley by a goal when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 1-0. Will the Mavericks repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
