Karah Foss' Big Game Leads Arbor View over Durango

Starting off the list is Arbor View's Karah Foss, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Foss made six total tackles and defended three passes in addition to snagging two interceptions both of which were returned for touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in receiving yards (213).

Arbor View's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-8. Foss and Arbor View will challenge Amplus Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

Priscilla Garcia put up the most passing touchdowns she's had since back in December of 2024 on Friday. She threw for 345 yards and six touchdowns while completing 85% of her passes. She is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as she's now passed for three or more in the last three games she's played.

On the season, Garcia has thrown 52 touchdowns while averaging 153.1 passing yards per game.

Keyanah Miller-Tureaud Delivers Best Performance of Season

Canyon Springs was led to victory by Keyanah Miller-Tureaud, who turned in her biggest game of the season on Friday. Miller-Tureaud rushed for 155 yards and one touchdown on only 15 carries. Her longest rush was for an impressive 53 yards, which helps to explain her lofty yards per carry total.

The win snapped Canyon Springs' losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-8 record. Miller-Tureaud and Canyon Springs will take on Desert Pines at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Sybol Hardinger Posts Best Passer Rating Performance Since Back in January

On Friday, Chaparral got the W thanks in part to Sybol Hardinger playing the best football she has all season. Hardinger threw for 176 yards and four touchdowns. The effort also marked the most passer rating (131.5) she has had since back in January.

Chaparral has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Hardinger and Chaparral will take on Durango at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
