Softball Game Preview: Cold Springs Eagles vs. Hanceville Bulldogs

The Cold Springs Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Hanceville Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Cold Springs will be strutting in after a win while Hanceville will be coming in after a defeat.

Cold Springs is headed into the contest having just posted their closest victory since March 8th last Thursday. They skirted past Meek 5-3.

Meanwhile, Hanceville came up short against Oak Grove last Thursday and fell 10-6.

Bella Spinks was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

Hanceville has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12-1 record this season. Cold Springs' win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10-1.

Cold Springs suffered a grim 12-1 defeat to Hanceville when the teams last played on March 8th. Can Cold Springs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
