Recap: Conrad Weiser Scouts vs. Antietam Mountaineers
The Conrad Weiser Scouts had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took down Antietam 65-48 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Conrad Weiser also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Antietam's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being AJ Schiefly, who scored 16 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Shawn Raffety, who scored 13 points.
Conrad Weiser's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Antietam, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conrad Weiser will take on Fleetwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Antietam, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Boyertown at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Boyertown focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday.
