Baseball Recap: Regis Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Regis and Culver, and Culver kept the tradition alive. The Rams fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 9-8 on Friday. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Regis now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Culver, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, Regis will be playing in front of their home fans against Mohawk at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Culver, they will face off against Crosshill Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 10.1 runs per game this season.
