Baseball Game Preview: Seminary Bulldogs vs. St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws

For the second straight game, Seminary will face off against St. Stanislaus. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to square off against the Rock-a-Chaws at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Seminary's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so St. Stanislaus' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Seminary is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Stanislaus, sneaking past 5-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Slade Bullock was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.

Bullock wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Stanley Peters, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That's the most hits Peters has posted since back in March.

St. Stanislaus' defeat dropped their record down to 22-13. As for Seminary, they pushed their record up to 28-6-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
