Softball Recap: Bartlett Drops Season-High Score on Cordova

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bartlett). They never let the Cordova Wolves get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Brenlee Suarez was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Carolina Horton, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Bartlett always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .682. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Bartlett's win bumped their record up to 2-15. As for Cordova, they dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bartlett will square off against Collierville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cordova, they will venture away from home to face off against Overton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
