Baseball Recap: Sheldon Huskies vs. Elk Grove Thundering Herd

Sheldon had lost 14 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-10 to make it 15. They lost 17-0 to the Elk Grove Thundering Herd. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Thundering Herd this season, with their most recent loss being a 20-0 defeat on Wednesday.

As for Elk Grove, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games.
