The Addison Bulldogs will take on the Ragland Purple Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Ragland will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Addison extended their winning streak to four last Friday. The Bulldogs claimed a resounding 48-6 win over Phillips.

Addison's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Elijah Roberts, who threw for 113 yards and four TDs on only eight passes, and also rushed for 30 yards. Those four passing touchdowns gave Roberts a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Judah Wilkins, who picked up 48 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Addison didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Kash Turner, Scout Flynn, and Trennon Burns picked up one apiece.
Meanwhile, Ragland humbled Decatur Heritage Christian Academy with a 51-20 victory. The Purple Devils pushed the score to 51-12 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.
Addison better keep an eye on A'Ron Lee. He was instrumental in Ragland's win, rushing for 221 yards and four scores on only 12 carries. Lee's longest rush was for an impressive 59 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Tre Bothwell also helped with two TDs in total.
Ragland was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 269 rushing yards. They are 3-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.
Ragland's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB seven times. It was truly a group effort as Nolan Mizzell, Chris Gulledge, and Hunter Nolin picked up two apiece. Gulledge also made five total tackles, which is notable because Ragland is 2-1 when he posts at least three total tackles, but 3-4 otherwise. Bothwell got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Addison's record is now 9-1. As for Ragland, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Addison has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 186.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Ragland struggles in that department as they've been averaging 187.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
