Baseball Recap: Triton Comes Up Short

Triton lost against Kenyon-Wanamingo back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cobras took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. That's two games in a row now that the Cobras have lost by exactly five runs.

Triton has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Kenyon-Wanamingo, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10.

Coming up, Triton will face off against Waseca at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kenyon-Wanamingo, they will venture away from home to face off against Goodhue at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
