Softball Recap: Dadeville Takes a Loss

Dadeville managed to slip by Glenwood the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 14-4 to the Gators on Tuesday. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Dadeville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caylin Wood, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Dadeville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Glenwood, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-17-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dadeville will square off against Beauregard at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Glenwood, they will face off against Montgomery Catholic at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
