Basketball Recap: Hillsboro's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Hillsboro had lost four straight headed into Friday's game, but Gregory Robinson didn't let it get to five. The Hillsboro Hawks skirted past the Festus Tigers 40-37 thanks in part to Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 22 boards. Robinson is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Hillsboro now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Festus, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-4 record.

Hillsboro will challenge Farmington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Farmington is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 71.2 points per game this season. Festus has already played their next contest (against Valle Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
