Basketball Recap: Episcopal Comes Up Short

Episcopal extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 11-3. The matchup between the Knights and the Lancaster Tigers didn't end well, with the Knights falling 63-47. The game marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

As for Lancaster, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points over those games.

Lancaster's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kollin Douglas, who shot 46% from the field on his way to 16 points and six boards. Those 16 points gave Douglas a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Vincient Green II, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 10 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists.

Episcopal didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 80-37 victory against St. Pius X on the 13th. As for Lancaster, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 72-61 defeat against Atascocita on the 13th.
