After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wasilla, Service was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds 35-13. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their six-point performance the matchup before.

Rachel Utic threw for 242 yards and three touchdowns. Alissa Coles was her top target, picking up 142 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Jamariel Spires rushed for 54 yards and one TD.

Service's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Bettye Davis East Anchorage, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
