Soccer Recap: Memorial Takes a Loss

Memorial came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Midwest City Bombers, falling 9-1. Memorial were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-0.

Memorial dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Midwest City, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Memorial will take on rival East Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Midwest City is set to face off against their familiar foe Pryor at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
