Bayside Academy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Leeds Greenwave by a score of 2-0.
Bayside Academy easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-17.
Bayside Academy can attribute much of their success to Mary Katherine Whitehurst, who had 14 digs. Whitehurst is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in the last five games she's played dating back to last season.
