Basketball Recap: Highlands Comes Up Short

Highlands has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 75-67 to the Holy Cross Indians on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (66), the Bluebirds still had to take the loss.

Highlands' defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Holy Cross, their victory bumped their record up to 13-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highlands and Montgomery County will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for Holy Cross, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Cincinnati at 7:30 p.m.
