Football Game Preview: Bullard Knights vs. Sanger Apaches + Official Tickets

The Bullard Knights will square off against the Sanger Apaches at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bullard comes in on four and Sanger on five.

On Friday, Bullard was able to grind out a solid win over Edison, taking the game 28-20. The Knights' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

A big part of Bullard's victory came down to the chemistry between Tyler Franklin and his top target Tyrin Pree. Franklin threw for 165 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Pree picked up 94 receiving yards and two scores. That's the most receiving touchdowns Pree has posted since back in September of 2024.

Bullard was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 280 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Sanger strolled past San Joaquin Memorial with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 42-24. That's two games straight that the Apaches have won by exactly 18 points.

Bullard better keep an eye on Kendale McGrew. He was instrumental in Sanger's win, rushing for 114 yards and one TD. McGrew's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 108 rushing yards.

One reason for the win was Sanger's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Leo Quiroz, Joaquin Neri, and Miguel Salazar, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Bullard's record is now 6-4. As for Sanger, their record now sits at 7-3.

Bullard came up short against Sanger in their previous matchup back in October, falling 13-7. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of McGrew, who rushed for 136 yards and one score.
