Basketball Game Preview: Kimball Knights vs. Washington Eagles

The Kimball Knights will face off against the Washington Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kimball knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 22 contests -- so hopefully Washington likes a good challenge.

Kimball is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 74-56 victory over Estacado.

Meanwhile, Washington waltzed into their game on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They put the hurt on the Jaguars with a sharp 76-56 win. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Jaguars are ranked 319th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kimball has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 21 of their last 22 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.7 points over those games. Washington pushed their record up to 29-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
