It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pine had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Atlantic Christian Sharks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 20-25, 25-19, 25-16.

Vitoria Claret paced Pine's offense, picking up 28 kills. Claret got some help from Talis Brinn and her 32 assists. Brinn also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Karolina Swan, each putting up four.

Pine has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Atlantic Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-13.

Pine didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Lake Worth Christian on the 21st. As for Atlantic Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Sagemont Prep on the 21st.
