Basketball Recap: Kingsley Comes Up Short

Kingsley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost to the Charlevoix Rayders at home by a 50-36 margin. While losing is never fun, the Stags can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 615th, while the Rayders are ranked 125th).

Kingsley's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Charlevoix, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.

Kingsley has already played their next contest (against Boyne City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Charlevoix will face off against Grayling at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
