Basketball Recap: Sunbright Snags Tenth Win in Last 11 Games

Sunbright had won four straight home games and Garrett Rogers did his part to make it five on Monday. Everything went the Sunbright Tigers' way against the Knoxville A Ambassadors as the Sunbright Tigers made off with a 71-49 win thanks in part to Rogers, who posted 33 points. Those 33 points gave him a new career-high.

Sunbright has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Knoxville A, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Sunbright Tigers face off against the Oliver Springs Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Knoxville A has already played their next contest (against Bell County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
