Volleyball Recap: Paramount Takes a Loss

Paramount was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Leuzinger Olympians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Leuzinger scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 23-25, 25-23, 25-19.

Paramount's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Leuzinger, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Paramount will face off against Cabrillo at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Leuzinger, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Blair at 4:00 p.m. on March 4th.
