Volleyball Game Preview: Estancia Eagles vs. Santiago Cavaliers

The Estancia Eagles will face off against the Santiago Cavaliers at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Estancia comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Estancia lost 3-0 to Century on Wednesday.

While Estancia ultimately came up short, they really made Century work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-22, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Santiago hadn't done well against Magnolia recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cavaliers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sentinels, sneaking past 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cavaliers.

Santiago had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 19-25, 29-27, 25-16, 17-15.

Santiago's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Estancia, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.
