The Dr. Krop Lightning won the last time they faced the Don Soffer Aventura Barracuda, and things went their way on Monday too. Dr. Krop strolled past Don Soffer Aventura with points to spare, taking the game 50-31. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Dr. Krop.
Leading Dr. Krop to victory were Emmanuel Ferguson and Joseph Washington. Ferguson scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and six steals, while Washington almost dropped a triple-double on 18 points, nine rebounds, and nine steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Washington has scored at least 25% of Dr. Krop's points. Another player making a difference was Christ Victorin, who scored six points along with four steals.
Despite the defeat, Don Soffer Aventura had strong showings from Nimrod Amiel Eilon, who scored ten points, and Ocean Nahum, who scored five points. The matchup was Amiel Eilon's fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Don Soffer Aventura struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Dr. Krop's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Don Soffer Aventura, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.
Dr. Krop won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Homestead at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th.
