Softball Recap: International Leadership of Texas Keller Takes a Loss

International Leadership of Texas Keller managed to slip by UME Preparatory Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles came up short against the EAGLES on Friday, falling 9-1. The defeat leaves the Eagles still looking for their first win of the season.

International Leadership of Texas Keller saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samantha Davila, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

International Leadership of Texas Keller's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for UME Preparatory Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-8-2.

Coming up, UME Preparatory Academy will head out on the road to take on Pantego Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The EAGLES are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. International Leadership of Texas Keller will be paying especially close attention to UME Preparatory Academy's contest: after UME Preparatory Academy faces off against International Leadership of Texas Lancaster-DeSoto, they'll take on International Leadership of Texas Keller again at 10:00 a.m. on the 26th.
