Basketball Recap: Orange Lutheran Comes Up Short

Orange Lutheran suffered their biggest defeat since February 1st on Thursday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the St. John Bosco Braves an easy 72-48 win. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 160th, while the Braves are ranked eighth).

Orange Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for St. John Bosco, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Orange Lutheran will be taking part in a tournament against Frontier at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. St. John Bosco and Sunnyslope will round out the year against one another at at 8:30 p.m. on December 26th.
