Danny Bratton posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He wasn't messing around, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. The pitching appearance was his third straight with zero or fewer earned runs.

Bratton's strong effort led Westfield over Brocton and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolverines have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since April of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
