Softball Recap: Cedar Falls Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Cedar Falls put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Hempstead Mustangs. The three-run effort marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Cedar Falls pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Hempstead, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Cedar Falls has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Kennedy on the 5th. Hempstead has also already played their next match (against Linn-Mar), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
