Last Tuesday, Edmund Burke Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Robert Toombs Christian Academy, taking the game 49-39.
Edmund Burke Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Braelyn Reeves, who scored 12 points along with 4 steals, and Zaylie Baker, who scored 19 points along with 9 steals and 5 rebounds. The matchup was Baker's third in a row with at least ten points. Ellee Mobley was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 10 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Pinewood Christian took their game at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 49-21 victory over Savannah Christian.
Their wins bumped Edmund Burke Academy to 4-1 and Robert Toombs Christian Academy to 2-2.
