Basketball Recap: Larchmont Charter Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Larchmont Charter posted their closest win since January 26th on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Middle College Cougars 50-48. That's more bragging rights for the Timberwolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Larchmont Charter's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nicholas Ojeda led the charge by going 6 of 11 en route to 14 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Micah Fleischman, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten assists.

Despite the loss, Middle College saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Haidyn Lakey went 12 of 19 on his way to 30 points and six rebounds. That was a full 62.5% of Middle College's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lebron Hasan, who had ten points and eight rebounds.
