Baseball Recap: Sublette Comes Up Short

Sublette lost to Bucklin back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Larks fell just short of the Red Aces by a score of 4-3.

Sublette saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Axton Zanghi, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. That hit was Zanghi's first of the season.

Sublette has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Bucklin, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-4.

While Sublette had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
