Softball Recap: Dodson Find Success

Dodson hadn't done well against Saline recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Dodson Panthers came out on top against the Saline Bobcats by a score of 8-5. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 20-6 win the Bobcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Kaydince McGee was a standout: she scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Jayden Browning, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Dodson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. They are 5-2 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The victory got Dodson back to even at 6-6. As for Saline, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Saline beat Dodson by a score of 14-4 later that day.
