Hopewell has gone 9-1 against Beaver recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Hopewell Vikings will welcome the Beaver Bobcats at 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Hopewell's offense. They came up short against Riverside on Tuesday, falling 14-0. The Vikings have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Hopewell got a good showing from Jacob Knobloch, who pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Meanwhile, Beaver got the win against Armstrong on Wednesday by a conclusive 12-5. That's two games straight that the Bobcats have won by exactly seven runs.

Beaver got a big performance out of RJ Sebek, who scored a run while going 3-for-5. Maddox Tanner was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Beaver always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .523. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Beaver and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7 runs. As for Hopewell, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything went Hopewell's way against Beaver when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Hopewell made off with a 15-5 win. Will Hopewell repeat their success, or does Beaver have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
