Meanwhile, Dallas Christian waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Eagles as they made off with a 16-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Chloe Rodriguez made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single hit and allowed only one earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
