Southwestern Heights not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 15, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Elkhart Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Southwestern Heights took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-9, 25-13.

Their offense was headlined by Leslie Garcia and Lacie Banman, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Mariah Mendoza and her 23 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.
