Football Recap: Lincoln Sets Scoring Season-High Against West Side

Lincoln scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 26-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Side Roughriders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 30-12 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Lincoln and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for West Side, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln will host Dwight Morrow at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for West Side, they will challenge Barringer at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
