Olympic typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Klahowya proved too difficult a challenge. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Trojans 4-3. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 4-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Klahowya's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Olympic, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-9.

Looking ahead, Klahowya is taking a road trip to face off against East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Olympic, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Lakeside at 1:00 p.m. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Trojans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
