After a string of four wins, Snohomish's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stanwood Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Heidi Chambers paced Snohomish's offense, picking up 19 kills. Chambers got some help from Maggie Cavanaugh and her 18 assists. Cavanaugh was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Snohomish's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Stanwood, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-1-1.

Snohomish has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Everett on the 22nd. As for Stanwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Jackson on the 23rd.
