Soccer Game Preview: Winona vs. Independence

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Winona challenge the Independence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday... Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Winona fell victim to Strayhorn and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 4-0 to the Mustangs. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Independence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Strayhorn, falling 5-0.

Winona's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Independence, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
