Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ansonia). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Derby Red Raiders 87-27. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Chargers have posted since January 18, 2024.

Ansonia's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Derby, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Ansonia will be playing at home against Kennedy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Derby, they will square off against Watertown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Watertown is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.6 points per game this season.
