Baseball Recap: Hershey Takes a Loss

Hershey was the 11-5 winner over Lower Dauphin when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hershey saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bennett Sheppard, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Hershey's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Lower Dauphin, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hershey is set to face off against their familiar foe Central Dauphin East at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lower Dauphin will square off against rival Bishop McDevitt at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
